Caroline Black is a licensed physical therapist whose career is concentrated in home health care, outpatient orthopedics, and sports rehabilitation. Caroline first received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland in College Park, MD in 1990 and then received her master’s degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore in 1993. Caroline is originally from England and continues to be licensed both in the United Kingdom and Maryland. Caroline is a retired naval officer who has spent 20 years working as a physical therapist in the United States Naval Reserves specializing in acute care rehabilitation. She has been practicing post-operative home health rehabilitation for Adventist Healthcare for five years. Caroline’s specialties while practicing outpatient orthopedics at Quince Orchard Medical Center include vestibular rehabilitation, post-operative management, and joint replacement rehabilitation.
By practicing her craft in both home healthcare and outpatient settings. Caroline has found her work to be very satisfying. She has found that she is able to provide excellent continuity of care and diversity in her treatment approach. Caroline finds that her ability to be flexible has contributed to her patients’ successful rehabilitation.
