Kara Kelly - Nurse Practitioner

Kara is an accomplished Nurse Practitioner who is board certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner degree at Georgetown University in 2014. She has a Master of Science in Exercise Science and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Cleveland State University and completed additional coursework at the doctoral level in Exercise Science at The Ohio State University. 

She utilizes a regenerative approach, which comprehensively assesses your health needs based on advanced clinical analysis and how you feel to help restore your optimal level of wellness. A key focus of regenerative medicine is determining the root cause of your symptoms. She also offers many natural and plant based therapies. Kara has an extensive experience with Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy and is certified in hormone implant pellet therapy for men and women. 

She also has experience with medical weight loss and customizing vitamin and amino acid injections that can conveniently be administered at home to help you reach your optimum energy level. These therapies can also control appetite and help Pre-Diabetics control blood glucose. 

She has a special interest in optimizing human performance in endurance athletes. Kara is a seasoned marathon coach and has completed over 60 marathons, including 7 Boston Marathons and 3 Half-Ironman Triathlons. She has been the Pace Team Coordinator for the Cleveland Marathon for over 20 years, as she grew up in the Cleveland area. 

She enjoys trail running in the mountains, swimming, hiking, yoga, cycling, kayaking and coaches her two sons in running. She follows a plant based diet and encourages her patients to make exercise and nutrition goals.
