Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Walter van den Valentyn is a licensed doctor of chiropractic with physical therapy privileges in the state of Maryland. He specializes in chiropractic adjustment spinal rehabilitation, sports injury rehabilitation, chiropractic management during pregnancy, chronic pain and patients suffering from headache disorders.
Dr. Walter van den Valentyn graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa with both a bachelor’s degree in science and doctorate of chiropractic in 1998. He was a teaching assistant while at Palmer College for three classes:
– Neuromuscular skeletal examination
– Physical diagnosis
– Radiology
Post-graduation he practiced in New York until obtaining his license in Maryland in 2002, when he joined the medical team at Quince Orchard Medical Center. Dr. van den Valentyn enjoys educating his patients about spinal health and encourages all his patient to actively take part in their rehabilitation.
In his spare time, Dr. van den Valentyn enjoys the great outdoors while hiking, golfing, snowboarding and mountain biking.
